When they ended the microfilm service and digitized the records, they ended access at FHL affiliated libraries. I had been able to order microfilm and view and print certs at my local public library. After digitization, for a few weeks I could see the certs on a computer at my library. That ended fast. Now you have to go to an actual FHL to see the records--not affiliates. The one nearest me is actually far away and is only open two days a week. This has been a catastrophe for my research and I'm sure for many others. Virginia
