He got his mother's date of death wrong by 1 or 2 days - I suppose that can be forgiven but I have seen errors on headstones done by the monumental mason also. I think a death record for John will take as long to find as the family in America - 20 years ???? However I do appreciate everyone's input. I am a lot wiser re research in the area.
