FindMyPast is digitizing all the records for the archdioceses of New York, Philadelphia and Baltimore.  Some Philly records are already online on their site. They include images--I got one from Philly.  No NY online yet.  The downside is that this is a pay site but they have to get their money back--very expensive project. I too always ask for photocopies. It's hard as the books are large and fragile but so far, so good.Virginia From: Jeanne Torre <jtorre@prodigy.net> Barb, It would be so lovely if the RC churches would scan their records and make them available since guessing at the parish can be a long shot and some churches just don't reply.  I'm still seeking another of my Irish lines -- have drawn a blank at the 8-10 churches I contacted for their children and their marriage.  Ah well, it wouldn't be fun if it was easy!
