I need to request a death certificate for a man who died in the late 1960s in either Long Beach or Atlantic Beach. It appears that both are located in the Town of Hempstead in Nassau County. 1. Where do I get the death certificate? I looked at the website for the Town of Hempstead and they only seem to list marriage licenses. 2. Can I request the record? I am not a direct descendant.... 3. Is there any other source for obtaining the record that might be more affordable than requesting it from the gov't? Might the LDS have the record? TIA! Debbie
