Not sure I should be posting this here but I know of another person who had a similar problem and wanted to pass this on.  I was researching my husbands side of the family today on ancestry and came across another person with my last name in their tree.  This person, who seems to be related to my husbands ex wife, has my hubbys date and place of birth, his picture, his marriage dates for both his ex and our marriage and none of it is private. I called ancestrys customer service and they looked into it and the owner of the tree has my husband and his mother both listed as deceased.  They are both still living.  I was told to email ancestry customer solutions and then they can contact the owner to have him fix this issue.  I also sent a message to the tree owner and let him know of the issue.  Ancestry said the tree owner is in strict violation of their rules.  I'm still using the old version of ancestry and until today I didn't know you could list a living person as deceased.  I have no idea where he got my husbands picture from, it was taken a few years ago and our facebook pages are private and that picture is not on his facebook page.  I also don't know how he could have found our marriage date.  We just got married 4 years ago. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.  I've never run across this before and was not happy.  [email protected]
