This new site is AWFUL...DO use it--try to run it through the paces--I could not even get search for a person on this tree to work... No more being able to view your pedigree No more being able to view HOW you got the relationship you have with a person...The ONLY benefit I see is that you are readily able to see if you have alternate birth-dates that should not be there For now you can switch back to the old site in a matter if seconds and leave feedback about what you don't like about the "new and improved" site. It reminded me also of Ellis Island... Nothing useful re research was done..all they did was make it pretty...in the process they made it pretty useless...I have 10,000 people in my tree---what they have done is made it impossible to get around my tree... Is there ANYONE here who can remember 500 names let alone 10,000? Anyone with an ancestry.com account NEEDS to go to the new site, run it through the paces and then tell them everything you don't like. At the MINIMUM we need to be able to choose which view we prefer at will...but the way it sits right now it looks like they are planning on leaving it this way. It is GREAT for the "2 week free trial wonders" LOL TOTALLY useless for any serious researcher!!! Register your complaints before it is too late and we are stuck with this mess...UGH I could scream................. AND they rolled it out before it was totally ready to go--you cannot even add a story right now...you cannot see at a glance where your ancestors were on every census in the timeline They took away anything that was good in favor of "pretty"... When what they SHOULD have been working on was all the transcription errors. Spread the word to ALL your geni friends---if enough of us complain maybe they will see the light I WOULD usually say Have a good day...but they ruined mine and they are going to ruin yours if you take a look. Joyce, 1) I too have problems with the "new" search facility. I keep having to re-enter the search criteria and cannot find a convenient button to click on to go back to the original search, without going back laboriously page by page. They have been told! 2) Still looking for any further information re. Benjamin WILDSMITH, buried 1830 in St John's graveyard, Trinity Church, Wall St..
