    3. Q: Where can I find a copy of a birth cert from about April 1910? A: NYC Dept of Health...125 Worth Street> http://www.nyc.gov/html/doh/html/services/vr-birth-general.shtml Complete form for "female ESTERBY first name may be Lenora"...add name of mother, father =unknown. Say she is your great grandmother and provide some doc with ESTERBY on it. Include photo ID, $, SASE. Q: If its only atthe archives in NY is there anyone going soon who can do a look up for me? A: NYC Archives has viewable births up to and including 1909. They cannot be viewed at DOH any more. The Birth Certificate would not include lies. In 1910 is should include DOB, address of mother, parents' names, number of previous and total births Circa 1910 out-of-wedlock births were a shame to the family. Maybe they moved out of state. Or LI, Rockland, Westchester, etc &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& I'mlooking for Lenora Esterby b. about April 1910 at the Florence Mission. According to the 1910 census her single mother was staying there and Lenora was0/12 months old. Her mother is listed as Lydia Esterby but I've heard thatthese woman lied about their names and ages and I suspect that Lydia might be myIda Esterby that I've been searching for. I don't know if Lenora's birth certwould provide any more info but I thought I would try. I can't find any info ona Lydia Esterby before or after this 1910 census. I can't find anything onLenora after this census either. Its very possible she was put up foradoption. Thanks. [email protected]
