Gail,This is really wonderful and how great that they added sound.  Wish I could identify all the buildings! I did get a laugh out of the boys trying to get into the picture in several places.  As the mother of sons, I have to say boys never change (I'm happy to say!). Thank you so much for sending this film clip, I had a good cry and you will wonder why, we had three brothers who went to NYC from London at exactly that time, one married lost both legs and died 1921, one worked as a private chaffeur, on the trolley buses and on the subway he died 1918 and one worked on the subway and returned home. This film covered exactly the scenario they were in and sadly there is lot more to this tale than I can put here concerning the family of the one who lost both legs perhaps I can find a small film clip about the next few years. Absolutely stunning! I am doing all my research long-distance (Oregon), so while I "know" the streets of NYC through poring over maps and census records, this is the first time I have ever seen it!
