    3. Hi Loreen, yes TMG does not run under LINUX. I don't have any experience with this, but found the following alternatives: http://www.familienbande-genealogie.de/en/index.html http://gramps-project.org/ which you can't get to work, I understand http://genj.sourceforge.net/wiki/en/introduction http://www.phpgedview.net/de/ Maybe this helps?     3. Many thanks Walter. I will look at these. It may be that I haven't spent enough time with GRAMPS. I likely just need to take some time to explore these possibilities. My FTM is on my old laptop that is kind of dying so it would behoove me to get up to speed. I sure do like Linux.
