I'm thinking of making a trip to NYC - maybe next week - to spend a day at the Municipal Archives. Haven't been there in many years and hoping for some feedback from the group: 1) Any weekdays (Mon-Thu) better or worse than others - availability of readers, etc.? 2) I'll by arriving at the Port Authority Terminal around 8:00am. Best subway to take to get to the Archives? 3) I have a newspaper article from July 1897 about a Manhattan homicide in which one of my ancestors may have been involved. Would either the District Attorney Records or the Court Records at the Municipal Archives have detailed information about the incident and subsequent criminal process? Thanks in advance for answers to the above or any other information that might contribute to a successful trip. Bill - Massachusetts
