    3. Hi Everyone, I am so frustrated, My Grandfather was born in Staten Island N.Y, March 4, 1912, but his Military papers say BD is March 6, 1913 his name was Norman Anthony Buhl, his Parents died ( year unknown) and his siblings put him in a Orphanage, We do not know any siblings names or his parents names, I am trying to find the orphanage he was put in and maybe can find out his parents or siblings names, don't know when he left the orphanage, enlisted in the Navy in 02/1945 vessels and stations served on NTC Sampson, N.Y and RS Shoemaker, Calif.was married to Margaret (Lewis) Buhl, lived in Philadelphia when enlisted, was a Philadelphia police officer 1940 to 1944, He never talked about his Parents or Siblings, my mother only knows that he was very Bitter about being put in an Orphanage. I just don't know where to start, I have tried looking up Catholic orphanages he may have been put in and can not find his name anywhere. any help would be greatly appreciated Thank You, Jackie
