I have not been able o come up with a date or place of death, yet others have told me he ied in 1907. He lived at 22nd Ward, 46th Street in 1880 Census. The ast I find this man he is married to a woman named Ella, and they are iving at 300 W. 12th Street, presumably in Manhattan. I only have access to NY State Vital Records minus those NY City ital Records which are on microfilm. I am hoping perhaps someone with a ind heart that has experienced the same type of unknown facts would be y tiny angel and help me out. Byron M. Pickett was a fairly well known artist and sculptor aving sculpted a statue of Samuel F. B. Morse which currently is ocated in Central Park, NY City, another bronze statue named, Patriotism" which is in Kingston, NY, and at least one if not two Civil ar Monuments which are at Gettysburg. This man is my Great Uncle and I ope one day to know where he is buried and perhaps get a photo of his arker. Thank You, Ron Hanley Rochester, NY

    3. Hello Ron. I am afraid I cannot help you directly, I live in the Uk. However, your message attracted my interest because of similarities to my own searching. My Gt.Uncle settled in New York (Erie, Buffalo) and was a sculpter.  He carved the bronze figures around the Shrine of Our Lady at Cheektowaga and in Canada did a bust of the Mayor of St.Catherine's Ontario in the 1920's.  Apparently he did a lot of other busts etc., including one of Lindbergh.  The only one I have tracked down to date is the Bust in Ontario. Like you too, I have no idea where he is buried, or indeed died, although I have strong reason to believe it was in the 1930's. I just wanted to share that.
