For any listers seeking information from New York City churches, please note that FamilySearch has records (on film) for a sizeable number of these churches. The list can be found by going to www.familysearch.org and clicking on either the tab "search records" or "library." Choose "library catalog", then "place name" and enter "New York City." The link you want is the last one on the list that appears: "New York (City) - New York, New York (City)." Warning: there are 192 entries here, so be prepared to do some scrolling! www.bklyn-genealogy-info.com also has some info - as I recall, not only for Brooklyn.
