    3. Bob, If you have access to ancestry.com, you should be able to search the 1920 US Census. Also, they have the 1918 WWI Draft Registration which Is easy to search. Hope this is helpful to you. This confirmed her full name, her parent's names and her age of 30 in April 1917 (1887) when the marriage took place, So this is definitely my missing Lady. Of interest however is that the certificate very clearly states her husband's full name was Frederick Anthony CARTER (not "CAREER" as the Brides Index stated) Frederick Anthony CARTER in 1917 is described as being 37 years of age, (1880) white, single, with an occupation of valet. He like Frances was also born in England but in the county of Dorset. It was the first marriage for both. The marriage took place 25th April 1917 at the Church of Heavenly Rest in Manhattan. Since receiving the certificate I have found Frederick's UK birth registration at Wimborne, Dorset England, listed in the 1881, 1891 and 1901 census where his birthplace is listed as Sturminster Marshall, Dorset. Also Fredererick Carter travelled to New York in 1911 from Liverpool, listed as a passeger on board the Teutonic. However big problem now being where are the couple when the 1920 USA Federal Census was undertaken? Any Clues Folks? cheers Bob Campbell in Australia ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NYC-ROOTS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
