If a person uses steve morse to get to ellis Island manifests it is going to bring up the same page which is wrong and does not yield desired info. It yields the same data as going direct to Ellis island...... You have to use the one that says Ellis Island Ship's Lists. Sorry for not clarifying this. I've tried it several times & it doesn't work; am I doing something wrong again? I have done it many times. Go to http://www.stevemorse.org Click on Ship's Lists Database, Put in name of ship ,month and year And up will come the ship. Click on the name Of the ship at upper right and up will come the manifest pages. Be sure to check the detained manifest page that are Either at the end or beginning of the regular pages. THe problem is that when I click to see the original passenger manifest, it keeps coming up on a different page & ship. Any suggestions? I tried calling E.I. but only got a recording and the menu did not pertain to my question. Passenger names I am researching are: Anastazia Halecka, age 18 & Andrej Halecki, age 32. Both were from Jedlinka. Am I doing something wrong or is the E.I. site temporarily having difficulties; has anyone else run into this?: Thanks, Nancy C. ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NYC-ROOTS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NYC-ROOTS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NYC-ROOTS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to NYC-ROOTS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
I just found it using Ellis Island Ship's List using stevemorse.org And it comes up clear as a bell the Kaiser Wilhelm II arriving March 9, 1904.
