Thank you to those on the NY-Irish list who responded on this American day of mourning post. Leslie, may your family find peace. Although I had not been onlist all day, I was amazed that no one initiated this significant topic. Teachers used to say that we are taught history, to avoid the same mistakes. Please remember this day and all of its victims on America's soil. When your children and grandchildren, are old enough to understand, it is vital for us to educate them of the facts of that day, and how its impact is still being felt. Barb
