I am researching a British born soldier serving with the Canadian army who died in 1917. His army service record stated he was a head waiter and his address was c/o Abbott 206 E. 40th St. N Y City. I was wondering if that building still exists and what it is now and would it have been his place of work or just his residence? I am hoping to get a photo of it somehow too. Regards Peter
