    1. Re: [NYC-ROOTS] Augustus R. Wilkins 1900 census
    2. I found the following in the 1900 NYC directory on footnote.com Wilkin, A.G. at 390 Mhtn Ave. Wilkens, August at 267 W. 90th. Wilkins, August grocer 781 11th Ave. Wilkins, Jacob R. trucks 2413 3d Ave. Hope this helps. Wilkins 1900 census this is an excellent search technique, I agree. Unfortunately, Augustus had died by 1910, and Emeline moved in with her daughter and husband on 7th Ave. So I really have little idea where Augustus and Emeline were from 1880 until 1905. Off to city directories, all of which I have ordered in past from FHC but did not retain all of NYC of course with the expense. Will check a few 1890s dates available on Ancestry. Does anyone have access to 1900 city directory?
