    3. Hi Anne, Some additional questions for you. In the 1830's, was it typical for people in NYC to be buried near (or the nearest) cemetery to their home? What's the benefit of knowing the sexton's name? I sent an email to both the Cypress Hills and Greenwood cemeteries. Hopefully they'll be able to tell me something.
