This is John, Kim's husband. I'm trying desperately to backup her family tree information. Her computer crashed, but I can access her hard drive. The files I used to try to backup her FT is from the Family Tree Maker folder - the last full backup she did was in February 2010 I believe. My question is - is everything she updated each time she used the program after that lost? Does it automatically get saved somewhere? I'm not sure how the program works. She was using the 2005 version and we're trying to restore it to her laptop which is using the same version. We're also planning on buying the 2012 version. ANY help would be appreciated.
