The-Ships-Lists Do a google search for this website. They have a huge collection of ships and passengers. It is a bit overwhelming and difficult to search, but I was lucky to find the 1852 passenger list of one relative. So you should try it. Hullo Lilly Thanks for your suggestion - Ships List and I are old friends - have not had any luck there either I know he arrived in NY on 1 September 1866 in a sailing ship - how can I find ship arrivals in 1866 by other means than Ships List - he was living at 18 Pell Street, New York (now Chinatown) when he became a naturalized American (was born in South Australia in 1851) Is there anyway we can find out who lived at 18 Pell Street in 1868? It's a mystery, but that is what keeps us going, eh?
