Hello, Can someone tell me what happened to all the old NYC birth records that were indexed with certificate # available on line several years ago? The Italian & German Gen web sites only have for 1901-1908. Are the older birth records still on line somewhere? Thanks Judy J. Eggers Msgene@mac.com

For years what they did have were old marriage and death records. Birth records of any kind are a relatively new addition. Projects are constantly being worked on to add to what is already online.
