Hello Listers. Is there anybody like me who has sought information on their relatives who had ben in Islip Hospital.  In my case the person in question was an Inmate in 1930 I have been trying for a long time to obtain information on my Gt.Aunt.  Initially I was told by "the powers that be" that on no account could any information be released.  When I pursued the matter a little later I was told that there had been changes and a slight relaxation of the rules under The Freedom of Information Act.  I was told, however, I must put my request in writing to Pilgrim.  This I did in April this year but to date have not had any response from them. Has anyone had success with this apparently firmly closed door. Doreen in the UK
