My son needs some help - not genealogy, but to find an old NY Herald newspaper.  Anyone have an answer to the below question? Dee in Phoenix Happen to know where there's an online version of the NY Herald dating back to 1846?  Only online database I found was back to 1852. Subject: NY Volunteer trivia I found the New York Legion connection in a 1969 publication of the Military Collector & Historian.  Two engravings were title NYL in the New York Herald 10 August 1846.
