Many deportation files that were created by the US Immigration and Naturalization Service have been transferred to the US National Archives. You can write to the office listed below to request an index search. If the search is successful, you can order a copy of the file, for which you will pay photocopying costs. I recently requested and obtained a deportation file from 1926-27. The documents were very detailed, including a transcript of the deportation hearing. Neither the index nor the records are online.
