JOHN SEIBERT married CLARA (CAROLINE) HUDSON, Melrose Reformed Church, Elton Ave. and 156th St. Married: July 19, 1885 Parents: WILLIAM SEIBERT and BARBARA FANNUFF?????? (originally found Tunnief on a death certificate, not sure which is correct but the Pastor may have been correct, it looks like an F not a T. PETER HUDSON and CATHERINE SCHULTZ (SCHUTZ) Can anyone suggest any other surname for Barbara? The two ff's at the end are very clear. After marrying, they lived in MT. Vernon, NY and had 13 children. WILLIAM/WILHELM SEIBERT was born about 1823/24 in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany BARBARA SEIBERT was born about 1826 in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany They had 6 or 7 children: Mary, Anna E., William, John Henry, Barbara, Peter Nicholas, Edward?? Edward I have not found on any of their census'. He apparently was a concert violinist, possibly changed the spelling of Seibert and no one has any information about him other than that, and supposedly a child of William and Barbara. I am especially interested in the family of Anna E. Seibert who married WILLIAM MACK and they lived in Mt. Vernon, NY. They had 7 children. William N., George Edward, Lena, Charles, Mabel ( married George Gibbs and had 10 children), Christina (Tina). 1910 census showed a Gertrude (daughter in law of who?) living with the family.
