Effective this date ancestry library edition output has changed. Prior to today when searching and entering a name, eg. Jacob Smith, b 1865; the out put was all recordfs hitting those parametes. Starting today, the output has been indiviual records, i.e. census, military, immigration., etc only. My questions is, have these changes also been effected on ancestry.com or are they restricted to ancestry library edition. Thanks
I don't know if you ever got a response. Ancestry.com still gives output the "old" way. ----- Original Message ----- To: <nyc-roots@rootsweb.com> Sent: 14 April, 2011 2:44 PM Subject: Re: [NYC-ROOTS] ancestry library edition and ancestry.com > Effective this date ancestry library edition output has changed. > Prior to today when searching and entering a name, eg. Hi What exactly is Ancestry Library Edition? I've looked on Ancestry but have not found a clear explanation. I was told that I could find the The Rhode Island 1777 Military Census on Ancestry.com but have not been able to find it. Would it be behind the Library Edition and is that a different subscription $ ? I just filed a find on the Rhode Island 1777 Military Census from Ancestry - it popped up when I clicked on military when checking on Pardon Gray of Tiverton, Newport, RI. Didn't take any special search.
