    2. Thanks so much, Lily. Everything we try leads us right back to Peoplesmart or Italius. My friend already paid money to PeopleSmart, whereupon they told him they really had no info on the person listed. What a racket! Sorry I was not clear before. I feel I have exhausted the Internet, including Ancestry. What I need is for a LOCAL person to check the phone books or call a local library that would still hold the slightly older ones. I have a clue that he might have moved up to White Plains ca 2002. Or he may be dead (and not in SS death index), and his widow (probably Josephine) is now out on Long Island.
