    3. Hi Annemarie, Robert Healy was drafted for military service on 5 June 1917. On his paperwork, he indicated that he was born on 19 May 1894 in Great Britain and that he was single. At that time, he was already living and working in Westchester County. (As an aside, in the early 1920s, the Briarcliff Lodge was a luxury resort hotel for guests like Roosevelt and Babe Ruth, so he had a pretty cool job!) My hypothesis is that his wife Mary/Maria probably also worked for the hotel, which was how they met. There are approximately 50 immigration records for passengers named Maria/Mary from Finland who were born around 1893 and arrived in New York between 1914 and 1916, so you might have to order Dorothy M. Healy's birth certificate in order to get the mother's maiden name. On the 1930 U.S. Federal Census (taken 11 April 1930), her age is given as 4 11/12, meaning she was likely born in May 1925. Hope this helps!
