    3. David, If you follow this link to Google Maps (http://bit.ly/ClarkStreet), you'll see the running next to Sixth Avenue is a little spur road that has the Chelsea Career and Technical Education HS and the HERE Performing Arts Center. Today, those buildings are numbered as if they are are nearby Sixth Avenue, but they are actually on Clark (no "e") Street. The name disappeared when Sixth Avenue was rammed south -- I forget when that happened. 3. thanks, got it.. I think that that almost conffirms that I have found the right people in the census.. In the 1829 directory, Elijah fish, carpenter lived at 54 Sullivan St. He died before the 1830 census, so he doesn't show up His widow, jane, married Francis Stoddard who lived on Clark(e) St. in 1830/...Looking at the map now, it appears that you could throw a rock over 6th Ave from one house to the other... ----- Original Message ----- From: "James Nevius" <james.nevius@gmail.com> To: <nyc-roots@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, September 23, 2011 4:26 PM Subject: Re: [NYC-ROOTS] Clarke St. David, If you follow this link to Google Maps (http://bit.ly/ClarkStreet), you'll see the running next to Sixth Avenue is a little spur road that has the Chelsea Career and Technical Education HS and the HERE Performing Arts Center.
