    3. HI Peter- I found this on Gwyneth: http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,819130-2,00.html Gwyneth Kahn, who came to TIME in 1945, is a specialist in answering let ters about National Affairs stories, and is a spare-time fiction writer. Before the U.S. entered World War II, she lived for a few years in London, where she wrote and sold fiction and poetry. Later, en route to the Pacific with the American Red Cross, she did a mono logue in verse called Lousy with Colonels which, she says, practically got her thrown off the ship. Though it was never published, she adds, it enjoyed good circulation in the South Pacific from majors down. Also if you google Gwyneth Kahn, there is a newspaper article from 1942, about the wedding of her brother Evans Kahn. :) Kate --- On Wed, 6/9/10, Peter Metcalfe <Peter-redfern@runbox.com> wrote: From: Peter Metcalfe <Peter-redfern@runbox.com> Subject: [NYC-ROOTS] kahn To: NYC-ROOTS@rootsweb.com Date: Wednesday, June 9, 2010, 5:36 AM Hi All I am seeking information on a Kahn family who lived in New York. 2. check the vital records on _http://www.stevemorse.org/_ (http://www.stevemorse.org/) if you have not done so as you can get further data such as the passing of Edward for whom you can order a death cert. King Edward 79 y Apr 1 1922 10107 (1922) Manhattan 1842 - 1843 ****************************************************************** have tracked my 3rd great grandfather's younger half brother from Niagara County NY, to Henry County, Illinois to Johnson County, Nebraska and back to the Bronx in 1900 and 1910 US Census. Edward Franklin King was born in January 1843 and was married twice with children in both marriages. The eldest son plus one daughter from each marriage is shown in the 1900 Census for the Bronx but only Edward and wife Anna (Osmond) King are listed in 1910. I am not sure what more to ask for if help is even available on this list. The 1900 census was held in June of that year. The family group lists: Edward King, Jan 1843, 57, New York Anna King, Mar 1846, 54, New York John King, Sep 1867, New York Anna King, Jul 1872, New York Mary King, Apr 1886, New York The April 1910 Census lists: Edward F.
