I would suggest reposting this with a subject that has to do with taping the St pat's parade. I think your message may have been lost so late in your message and with your subject line. I am wondering why I havent sen my question poster to the list. I was a member of the list for year and then had computer problems and had to get a new computer which took some time to save for..now I join again, and get little of messages it seems.....I know this isn't a look up for info, does it make a difference to the message. Most of my genealogy over the had to do with family all from NYC including myself, and I got good responses and help from many. I will still need some help with one family member but trying to nail down If he was in nyc or state. Thank you for reading and a response. I started the genealogy of my family ancestors back in the 1960's and one of the questions along the way was ..what was the profession? Seems going back to early 1800's we have firefighters and police as the main profession including present time,on both sides of family. I have managed to get help from some on the list who found relatives even in Calif, and one in Germany and some in London. Even I was involved until I retired a couple of years ago.. and now I have areal quandry, my two sons, both firefighters, one in Fl. and one in NJ will be marching in the St.Patricks /day parade. I cannot attend, due to circumstances here at home in Fl. So again, am hoping for help in a way to extend the genealogy of family, to put in family archives to show the following generations and need your help. I'M HOPING to contact someone who can tape/record the St. Pat's parade this year for me, here in Florida. There was a very nice gentleman I think in Texas that did in 2008 and I enjoyed watching from here at home. But until now have not had computer back to work on and send messages, and I lost his address when computer died. I had plans to drive up this year to stay for a few days in NJ then go to parade to watch both my sons marching in the parade! This time my firefighting son her in Florida has been invited along with the Orlando,FL FD pipe an drums to parade (usually the piper in first line on W side of parade route).HIs brother is a Passaic NJ Lt, and is supposedly his contingent marching right behind. They have marched before but in separate divisions and no band, also both worked on the pile to locate anyone lost on 9-11-01 and still think of themselves as I do as New Yorkers. It's hard to locate them in the sea of blue uniforms but I did manage once, this time being with the band should be easier. However, I cannot make the trip this year being in a wheel chair ( back problems) and having to come over from NJ alone. Elizabeth, You are totally correct! I think that is what happened to my family. I took the great suggestion of Ted Schmitz and looked through all of the 2nd enumeration for the 20 WD, ED 15, but couldn't find them! I guess they flew the coop. I will now check other 2nd enums around the area. My heartfelt thanks to all that gave me their help. Kathleen~CT. Thanks so much. Kathleen~CT.< And, Newbies, remember that "House #" is not really the number of the house but only the 26th house the enumerator came to in his section. The suggestion to go to the 2nd enumeration is a good one. However, people moved so often from one rented place to another that a January 1871 location does not guarantee that the family was there the June before. Elizabet

I want to thank everyone who gave me suggestions for the correct reading of the name FANNUTT on a marriage certificate instead of the name TUNNIEF. I have found a FANNUTT family living in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. on the 1900 census, I will see if I can tie them into the Seibert family. Jeanne Sedler Appel
Can someone please jog my memory..I always have trouble finding the correct title for Queens NY research on the LDS site. I want to order the marriage cert for Frank Murphy. The marriage date is june 24, 1929 in Queens, cert. # 1802. When I search the LDS site for the title, I found queens marriage index...I dont want the index right? Can SKS help me find the correct title so I can find the film number? Thank you so much Kim
