    1. [NYC-ROOTS] ROCHE family in NEW YORK
    2. sean roche
    3. hi, "Where did they settle and what census records do you have ??" All I have so far is the record on ELLIS ISLAND, and a 1910 census record for a PATRICK ROCHE which fits, although there were 2 PATRICKs that arrived in the same year that would fit the bill. No one in my family knew of their existence before. It looks like the first to arrive, MARY, settled at 55th St. New York. "If you are talking NYC, see the vital records on _http://www.stevemorse.org/_ (http://www.stevemorse.org/) " Thank you I will check it out. 3. Hullo Lilly Thanks for your suggestion - Ships List and I are old friends - have not had any luck there either I know he arrived in NY on 1 September 1866 in a sailing ship - how can I find ship arrivals in 1866 by other means than Ships List - he was living at 18 Pell Street, New York (now Chinatown) when he became a naturalized American (was born in South Australia in 1851) Is there anyway we can find out who lived at 18 Pell Street in 1868?
