I have now seen David Stroebel's post, and it was abusive. Too abusive to repeat; I'd look like I was trying to feed a fight! One sentence was packed with cuss words, another was shouted, and he didn't even trouble with grammar. I suspect if I'd been standing nearby when he wrote it, I'd have been waiting for him to hit me so I could have him locked up. Far more hotly and way more rudely put than was needed to make his point, which is that he thought an argument doesn't belong here. What the listowner does about it should be at her discretion, but if she's saying David said nothing wrong, I have to wonder if she wants to gang up with him against someone else. I've written as angrily, and I've certainly written rudely, and I've said as many cuss words - but never together, not once in my life. Not since I was four years old and my parents spanked me soundly all three times I tried it. Dora > > --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. http://www.avast.com
God damn isn't a curse word! Well, now, depending on the context, and the number of saw/ heard it, I wouldn't necessarily find it abusive - but it is definitely a curse word. According to how you define obscenity, it might not also be an obscenity, but it's pretty much the same difference.
