    1. Hurlburt Diaries
    2. Tim Doyle
    3. Hello all: You may have seen the link from the Broome Co., NY GenWeb pages to the 1862 diary of Isaac Hurlburt. This diary has been completely transcribed and is online for everyone to read. I also have the 1874 diary of Isaac Hurlburt and the 1904 diary of Jennie Hurlburt. Both are partially transcribed and online at the same site at http://www.gentree.com/hurlburt/ I just returned from a research trip to upstate New York and uncovered four more Hurlburt diaries! I now have the 1871 diary of Isaac Hurlburt and the 1905, 1908, and 1914 diaries of Mary Ellen (Holcomb) Hurlburt. All of the diaries (except the 1908 and 1914 diaries) were written by people who lived in the New Ohio / Colesville area. Many neighbors and family members are listed. I hope to have all of the diaries transcribed and online as soon as I can. Note: The 1908 and 1914 diaries were written after the family had moved to southern California.
