I was just browsing my copy of the 1860 census and found that Isaac Johnson of Lisle, age 78, had a Frances Harrington age 7 living with him. With the age differences (Wife Jerusha is 71), I have to think that might be a grand daughter. Does anyone know if any of Isaac's dau married a Harrington? or any possible explanation as to why such a young girl would be living with Isaac? Harrington is one of the names connected to my Simonds/Thornton families in Onondaga Co and this may be the missing link to connect the 2 families. A few pages earlier is a Benjamin Herrington, who was possibly the same Benjamin who was living with Simeon Thornton in 1850. TIA Vicki
