I'm looking for any information on a Frank pettis b. abt 1851 Binghampton, Broome Co, New York. On his marriage Certificate and his Great state register in California his name is De. Frank Pettis. As far as I know he didn't use the De. in his name. He served in the civil war as a drummer boy From New York. Please, any help would be appreciated. I don't know who his parents were but he did have a brother Adelbert Charles Pettis b. 5 apr 1858 Bennington, Wyoming NY. Frank and his brother went to california together sometime in 1880 or amybe the year before since Frank married in Dec. 1880 to Annie Collins daughter of Edward Collins and Mary Ann Northey.
