Loren Sr.'s wife Ella was probably the mother of Loren Jr. Bessie I. McLean, 17, was a servant in the household. Any Duren descendants out there? Ann
I have found that John G Oliver of Lisle, wife Elizabeth was a soldier in the Civil War. Enlisting in E Company of the 50th Engineers Regiment , New York. He enlisted January 4, 1864 and mustered out at Fort Barry, Virginia on June 13, 1865. John G Oliver applied for a pension onJanuary 29, 1890. His widow Elizabeth applied for her widows pension on May 18, 1910. I find at the LDS website: Delos Oliver, b. 1875 was the son of John G Oliver and Elizabeth Lincoln. A visit today with a daughter of Delos Oliver who recalls attending the Lincoln Reunions when she was a youngster in Center Lisle. She recalls Delos Oliver had a sister, Lucinda, a brother, Everett, Orange and a brother, Jason. And probably others. Delos Oliver, born 1875; died in 1933. Anne
