Help! Does anyone out there have information on records kept by Rev. Bethuel Brooks or his son, Asa? They were Methodist ministers in the Broome county area in the early 1800's. One, I believe, likely Bethuel, married Laura Howland and William Harrison Gibson at Berkshire on January 22,1837. Access to that record might help me learn who were Laura's parents. If anyone has any other suggestions as to how I can determine this, I am surely open to suggestions. She is buried in the Howland Hill cemetery, which is on property originally owned by Wm.
