    2. Ginny L Owen
    3. I am new to the list - I am wondering if there is the 1865 or 1870 Census on line for this county? Any on-line Census records or indexes would help! I am looking for a Charles Cyrus Campbell, born in May 1850 in Canada, lived in Upper Canada/Ontario and was possibly born there. His parents were John or Charles Campbell and Margaret Mc(G)Laughlin, both born in Ireland. In 1861 Charles Cyrus immigrated to the US, likely through Buffalo. I don't know if he came with a relative or one or both of his parents. I'm pretty sure he was in New York State (likely the western half) in 1865 and likely in 1870 as well. By 1872 Charles was married to Margaret O'Keefe (of Canandiagua, Ontario County) and they moved around between Warren County PA and McKean County PA. Thank you! Ginny ginnyo@juno.com

Hi Sandy, as you already know 1850 NY Census Index lists William Tuckey in Coventry, Chenango page 362; and 1860 lists a Mary Tuckey in Broome Co Colesville page 687. The search engine didnt find a Kasson or variant in either of those counties. It did find a William Kason in 1870 MO Census Index St Louis City 6w page 230 Some Tuckey & Kasson Families went to MN and 1870 MN Blue Earth Co Lake Crystal lists a Mary Tuckey page 377; Some Kasson are in Kasson Village, Dodge Co MN. I didnt see a William listed. trace97@jps.net

    3. I would like to welcome those of you new to this site and tell you there are some really great folks who are willing to help just for the asking. I, myself do Volunteer research at Andersonville Civil War Prison in Andersonville Georgia. Any research I do is absolutely at NO cost and I am willing to do what I can. My sources are the following....... There are 2 online databases to do lookups.....One by name...one by Company and Regiment. I also have a copy of the Dorence Atwater Death list which has the names and grave numbers of some 13000 graves with only 460 marked as " UNKNOWN " This along with a CD I have which contains 34,000 names of the 45,000 who were imprisoned there which helps me find prisoner records because of misspellings of the names or alternate names. I visit the prison site every couple of weeks and have access to the onsite databases as well as the physical files. I would like to let you know of another service I offer which is to take photos of graves for a small fee. Please see my website which is dedicated to those who passed through the gates of Andersonville. http://www.angelfire.com/ga2/Andersonvilleprison/index.html I want to thank those of you who are regular subscribers and tolerate my frequent postings..
