Hi everyone... I found the death cert # for Ann Conlon on italiangen. It matched the 5/21/1873 burial time given to me by Holy Cross, but there was no corresponding film # to be found, so I was unable to ask the LDS folks for the document. I had another family member whose death cert was misfiled, but before I found it, HC told me there had to be one, as no one in that time period would be buried without a death cert. The wonderful LDS people went on to find a document that seems to be the same Ann Conlan, but it is dated May 23, 1874 - a year and 2 days later. The document isn't a death cert, however, it's an account of an inquest, with a Verdict of Jurors...I've never come across anything like this. Is this inquest doc in place of a death cert?
