Barb, There are 2 St Patrick Churches that I know of, one in Bay Ridge and the other, now closed, on Kent Ave in Bed Sty. The Bay Ridge St Pat's was organized in 1854 and is still in operation. The Kent Ave St Pat's merged with St Lucy to form St Lucy/St Pat's. That happened a few years back, I think in the 1970s. The current records are supposed to be in the new parish Mary of Nazareth. Merger of St Lucy/St Pat's with Mary of Nazareth, 41 Adelphi Street, was effective January 31, 2011. The name of the parish is Mary of Nazareth, but the name of the church at 41 Adelphi Street is Sacred Heart. It is about a mile west of St. Patrick's. Sheila Santa Barbara CA
