VALENTINE first appeared in the 1870 Census for Norwalk, CT at age 18, a Hatter, b. NY. All documents including his Death Certificate give his birth only as Brooklyn, NY He lived and worked in Norwalk, CT until his death in 1918. I have his Marriage Certificate at St Patrick’s Church in Brooklyn in 1878 His wife as Annie McClusky / McCloskey b. In England Feb 1851 arrive USA in 1875 d. ???? I have no information on his parents other than father listed with same name and mother as only “Catherine” Bride and groom both give "94 Skillman" Brooklyn as their address, (they may have stayed there before the wedding?) They had 7 children including my father. They are buried in St. Mary's Cemetery, and were members of St. Mary's Church in Norwalk, CT. Church records are less than mine. .
