Good Morning, First off, I would like to offer kudos to Joyce, Marie, Mary and all others that have aggressively taken the Ellis Island (EI) folks to task over what has transpired. Thank you for trying to help all of us that have used this site in the past and have created 'saved searches'. Once I saw the first msg go out, I also tried logging in but had no success. I used the EI contact list to send them an email listing my concerns. Within 45 minutes I not only had a reply but a new crazy alpha password that I cannot change. After logging, I was just amazed at how user unfriendly this site has become. I've read all the emails that I receive and have tried all of the suggestions - some with success and some where I just have not seen the same things others have. For example, on my first search I do not get the four images with up/down arrows. I tried saving that search - but can't find where it is saved. Yes, it says saved in 'My Profile'....but when looking there, there is nothing. When I try to 'resave' the search, it says....search saved in My Profile. Very frustrating. I am very upset that most of my previously saved searches will no longer be available. Additionally, I do not use Facebook. Will not use Facebook. If EI is going to post responses or provide answers to problems, I feel they should utilize the forum they have created and stick with the EI site.
