    3. I think part of the problem might be that many of us have switched to googlemail for rootsweb lists since having so much trouble getting list emails a while back. Although I asked one of the lists how to cut off the excess on google mail , no one replied so I am guessing some of you may be in the dark too about googlemail (which is really a weird email setup (JMHO) Anyway, when replying, there is an arrow in the upper L corner of your email. If you click on that it gives you the option to edit...your email will show up in a different box and you can edit out the excess text. In google mail you cannot see all the extra text going out with your email unless you do that... I hope this helps some folks...since I never got an answer when I asked on the list, I found out another way...I hope this helps those of you who made the jump to googlemail fro rootsweb lists. Googlemail is pretty weird (JMHO) and people cannot see what they are sending unless they click on the edit arrow in the upper left.
