Dear Friends, When you are seeking assistance with a specific ancestor, whether from a list or when working with a genealogist, it really helps if you cut and paste *known* records into your post, like this Manhattan Marriage Certificate info> Clark Annie K Aug 29 1876 5221 (1876) Manhattan 1562178 Hannoway, Samuel This MC says more in a succinct way, even when surnames are misspelled. PLUS+ You can also use these transcribed vital records in a folder online, for easy retrieval of information. Barb

    3. Dear Friends, It's helpful to your research if you understand exactly where your ancestors lived. Run every address that you have through Google, and capture the ZIP. For Manhattan, enter address plus New York, New York. For Brooklyn, enter address plus Brooklyn, New York. ZIP codes can lead you to family neighborhoods, churches, and Wards. Barb
