I am hoping to get photos of a couple of graves in Holy Cross. If anyone does that or will be at the cemetery and can stop by the graves please let me know? There are two sites. One of the photos is for a cousin in Ireland with aunts and uncles buried in HC. Kathy

Best way is to make the request via Findagrave. If the memorial is not already listed, then add it yourself or I can do it for you. Each memorial has a link to request a photo of a memorial and volunteers who fill requests. Kathy RAOGK.com is back online but the list of volunteers is not what it once was. There is a Cara Lowry on the RAOGK.com list who is volunteering to take photos at both GreenWood Cemetery and Holy Cross Cemetery. Good Luck and maybe many reading this post will think about volunteering for RAOGK. It is a service that helps so many who cannot get to the cemetery or to the records. I don’t volunteer with a formal organization but do help out whenever I can with either cemetery photos or research. My father-in-law lived in western Maryland and used to collect old pictures and I’ve spent a good bit of time reuniting them with their descendants. It feels good to do that for someone.
