I recently received a death certificate revealing that my great-great-grandmother died in 1949 in the White Nursing Home in Brooklyn. All I can find about it is a 1943 classified ad in the Brooklyn Eagle giving the address as 2739 Bedford Ave., and describing it as having "Cheerful rooms, home atmosphere, excellent food and care. Licensed." I'd like to know more about it, if anyone can share any information. Kathleen
