I DO hope admins let this long post through as it is important. While we are making lists of what we DON'T like about NEW ancestry we probably should also make a list of the things we LIKE about the new ancestry. Many people use different functions than I do, so getting everyone's input on things they catch is important. I am making a WORD doc of all the issues I will email to people after we get all the info together if they like. This will make it easier to keep track of issues when we try to register SPECIFIC complaints about what is not working or what we don't like. In case my last post does not get though essentially what it asked was for EVERYONE to make lists of the things they are seeing that either don't work right OR things you don't like...I had posted many things I have already found that were a problem such as NOW you cannot see the age people were at the time of various events-this really helps you to see if you have attached a child who was born when parents were 11 years old as well as seeing when a death date you entered means the guy was 120 when he died (no joke--I have seen this in trees) Also you can no longer print off a tree view to catch many generations unless you want to spend a fortune in ink as the gray background is going to eat up tons of it. Formatting stories with paragraphs etc is a waste of time as they are running all the text together. Please send me OFF LIST but in the same thread (this one or the one that hopefully will show up soon. PLEASE do not email me ONE issue at a time. Keep track of everything you find and send me ONE list of everything you like or don't like about the NEW version. I'll probably shoot myself by the end of the week, but I think it is important that we get a list together that is specific about the various issues. They cannot fix things that they don't know are broken--PUT THE SITE THROUGH EVERY PACE YOU CAN THINK OF--I am finding problems with all kinds of things.
