Joe Bissitt, Thank you for your thoughts. I agree with you 100%. I can remember the long hours spent at the South Eastern Branch of the National Archives [a 60 mile round trip] looking at microfilm until my eyes blurred and my head hurt. Some days you lucked up and found a relative and other times you struck out. That was back in 1982 and boy have things changed since then. I will gladly pay Ancestry to index, film and post all those records which I have no earthly way of accessing in person.
